Shabby Sweet Hanging Plant

burlap perfectlydestressed.com

Using a few simple supplies I had on hand, I changed this cute, inexpensive hanging plant to sweet and shabby chic!

Items used:
Small Hanging Plant
Sisal Rope
Small Grapevine Wreath
Scrap Burlap Piece
Twine

I found this adorable hanging succulent plant at Home Depot and just loved it! But, it needed something “more”.

First, I removed the plastic hangers from the pot.

After cutting my burlap to the size I wanted, I gathered it around the pot and tightly wrapped the twine to hold it in place. Next, I cut 3 equal pieces of sisal rope and knotted them in 3 spots attaching to the grapevine wreath. I pulled the 3 rope pieces together and knotted them at the top as well, leaving space for the plant to hang evenly.

The result was this adorable hanging plant! Be still my heart!
